The Face Of A Dancer 101

The world of competition dance is one like no other sport. From the costuming to props even to the details of the fake lashes; it's a whirl wind of fun and its always exciting to see what other dancers and studios prepare to bring to the table. 

When it comes to prepping for your first dance competition there are several things you'll want to stock your "tool box" with! In this blog, i'm going to list several items that might be essential to avoiding a crises the day of competition!

First things first, foundation. The start to all things make up! Here is our favorite foundation with it's matching setting powder and gel primer!

Getting the foundation underway, you'll want to add your own pink blush, and black eyeliner. But as far as the color pallet and eyelashes we have our own recommendations for that too! We recommend a good neutral pallet in the Morphe brand and then a set of lip colors to match several different costumes!

With the face complete, lets move on to the hair! We need something to help part, slick back, and glue it down!

By now you should have enough to complete a really great look for competition! I'm going to link a few more items that are great to have on hand for some moments in need!
